Steam Dragon - Book Series

Steam Dragon is a fantasy western steampunk adventure (quite the mouthful!) series set on the planet Erth. Inhabited by seven sapient races (Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Trolls, Goblins, and Dragons), Erth's history is long and storied, with the distant past shrouded in legend and myths.

In more recent times, as early industrial armaments and inventions swept across the globe, nearly every nation was plunged into war as a bloodthirsty tyrant nearly succeeded in conquering the world.

But now, in the aftermath of that war, steam-driven marvels and mass-produced magic span the continents. And a treasure map surfaces that may prove some of those old myths and legends to be true. Or, more fatefully... the artifact at the end of that map may change the course of history.

Thieving rustlers. Belligerent goblins. Quick-drawing dragons. Carnivorous dinosaurs the size of freight trains. And airships known to crash more often than they fly.

Oronia's western frontier is rife with danger. So it's about the last place that Ceria Berenni, a recently unemployed, elven wizardess should consider starting over. But, when a lost treasure map surfaces that supposedly leads straight to the fabled last location of the most legendary magical artifact in history... what else is she to do?

Book 2: Transcontinental
 (writing in progress)

New opportunities and dangers arise as Oronia's first transcontinental railway nears completion. Once again, Dragon's Glint may become the epicenter of unforeseen perils.
